CraftyCNC provides tools for the hobby machinist interested in probing or reverse engineering items on their CNC mill or router.
In addition to Probe-It for use with touch probes (as a UCCNC plugin or Mach3 wizard), we currently provide number of other useful plugins for UCCNC.
The original ProbeIt is a wizard for Mach3 that allows for some CMM like functionality, including probe tip calibration/compensation and recording direct to DXF or CSF data files! The UCCNC version takes that original functionality and builds additional features!
Note: ProbeIt for UCCNC has many more features than ProbeIt for Mach3, which is limited by being a macro based plugin.. The UCCNC version includes a viewer, point cloud and rotary axis features, and a few other items the Mach3 version does NOT have.

Touch Probes are compatible with all major CNC controls (UCCNC, Mach3, Mach4, LinuxCNC, etc), and are simple to use with a two wire interface to connect to your breakout board. These probes are small, and ideal for your small bench-top machines
